Document files

PdfVala's supported PDF and document tools process selected files in your browser. PdfVala does not receive the contents of those files for conversion. File names and document passwords are not intentionally included in traffic analytics.

Traffic analytics

To understand reliability and usage, PdfVala may record page paths, referral source, session timing, returning-visitor status, browser and device category, language, approximate country derived from the request, performance metrics and whether an advertising request appears to be blocked. A pseudonymous browser identifier may be stored locally so visits can be counted without requiring an account.

Google Analytics may also process website usage information. Session replay is only enabled when a deployment configures it; form values are hidden, network payload capture is disabled and the browser's Do Not Track setting is respected.

Advertising and third parties

PdfVala uses Google AdSense to fund the free tools. Advertising and analytics providers may use cookies or similar technologies subject to their own policies and the controls available in your browser or region.

Storage on your device

Local storage and session storage may remember language, theme, a pseudonymous visitor identifier and session state. You can remove these values through your browser's site-data controls.
