Electronic versus digital signatures

This tool creates a visual electronic signature. It does not use a signing certificate, validate identity, provide tamper detection, or create a cryptographic digital signature.

Privacy and signature handling

The signature drawing exists in the current browser page and is embedded directly into the local PDF. Resetting the tool clears the drawing canvas.

Is the result legally binding?

Legal requirements vary by country and document. Confirm acceptance with the recipient or obtain legal advice for important agreements.

Is this a digital signature?

It is a visual electronic signature, not a certificate-backed cryptographic signature.
