Combine multiple PNG images into one PDF

The first image in the list becomes page one, the second becomes page two, and so on. PdfVala currently accepts up to 50 images in one selection. That is an interface limit, not a guarantee that every phone can process 50 large screenshots—available browser memory still matters.

Rename files with numbers before selecting them if you want a predictable initial order.

What happens to PNG transparency?

PNG alpha data can be embedded in the PDF. Most PDF viewers display transparent areas against a white page or viewer background, so the result may look white even though the PNG did not have a white background. If exact appearance is important, flatten the image onto your intended background color before conversion and test the PDF in the viewer your recipient uses.

Does converting PNG to PDF reduce image quality?

PNG files are embedded without JPG recompression, so the image pixel data is not deliberately converted to a lossy format. The PDF page is created to match the image’s width and height. A PDF viewer may scale that page on screen or during printing, which can change how sharp it appears at a particular zoom or paper size.

How to make a smaller PDF from PNG files

Large PNG screenshots can produce a large PDF because lossless images compress differently from photographs. Resize oversized images before conversion, remove empty margins, or use JPG copies when the source is photographic. You can also try the Compress PDF tool after creating the document, but always inspect fine text afterward.

Browser and privacy notes

The conversion runs on your device in the browser and does not send image contents to PdfVala’s conversion server. JPG and PNG provide the most consistent results across Safari, Firefox, Chrome, Edge and Brave. Other image formats are normalized to PNG when the browser can decode them; unsupported files now show an error instead of being silently omitted.
